Minoxidil belongs to a class of drugs known as vasodilators. This drug is used to help hair growth in the treatment of male pattern baldness. This drug is not used for baldness at the front of the scalp or receding hairline in men.
For topical solution dosage form: Adults-Apply 1 milliliter (mL) to the scalp two times a day. Children-Use and dose must be determined by the doctor.For topical foam dosage form: Adults-Apply half a capful to the scalp two times a day. Children-Use and dose must be determined by your doctor.
Minoxidil solution and foam are used to help hair growth in the treatment of male pattern baldness. This medication must be used continuously to maintain hair growth.
This medication reverses the miniaturisation of follicles, increases blood flow around follicles, and stimulates follicle movement to growth phase.
Consult your doctor, if you have diseases of the scalp e.g. eczema, cuts, heart problems e.g. chest pain, heart attack, heart failure, kidney disease and liver disease.

Swelling in your face or hands.
Swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing.
Increased hair loss.
Inflammation or soreness at root of hair.
Swelling of face.

Facial hair growth.
